The Dodgers were down 9-5 in the bottom of the 9th. 4 consecutive Dodgers hit homeruns to tie the game up. It was the first time in 40 years that has happened. In the bottom of the 10th, Nomar Garciaparra jacked a walk off homerun to win the game. If you are a baseball fan, it was pretty exciting.

We stuck around for autographs and got to see Tommy Lasorda and Greg Maddux. Shane even found out afterwards that he made a sizable appearance on TV giving Jared high fives.

Shane has to share the most amazing sporting experience he has ever had. Dodgers vs. Padres. Winner takes the top spot in the division. It was an amazing night: there was a bench clearing brawl, Shane caught a fowl ball, a broken bat wizzed right over our heads, and Shane even got on Los Angeles TV at the game.

We had a fun evening with our friend Jenny Marsella. She bought Kelli a "hooter hider" for breast feeding and Shane his very own "Daddy's Diaper Duty Devise" fully equipped with diaper belt, terd scooper, face mask and eye goggles. Now we are truly ready for parenthood!

Preg-o-meter! Here is Kelli during the first week in October. Morgan Sue will be here in just a few weeks!

Kelli's ended her World Series of baby showers with a shower put on by her friends here in LA. The shower was a picnic theme. Here Kelli and her mom support our baby theme of butterflies with a big balloon and butterfly cupcakes. We got hooked up with a bunch of baby gifts and the girls even played baby Jeopardy. The favorite topic of the game was "things we know about Kelli."

Our house is turning pink, so I figure it's time for our blog to turn pink too.

Here's one last look at little Morgan Sue. She will be here in less than 4 weeks. Here she is sticking her thumb in her mouth. The round dark spot is her little eye. We could actually see her blinking!!!

Shane had a great time at his 10 year reunion while we were home in Indiana. It was a great evening and so awesome to catch up with some old friends. Everyone is living an happy life!

ROOOOOAAAAD TRIP!

My buddies Jared and Phil and I took an awesome road trip up to San Francisco to watch the Eagles play the 49ers. It was a lot of fun. We drove along the Pacific Coast Highway the entire way up. The scenery is amazing. It was my last hoorah before Morgan Sue comes in just a few weeks.

Wow what an awesome game! There is not a bad seat at Candlestick Park. The Eagles destroyed the 49ers 38-24. McNabb tore it up and the defense even returned a fumble 98 yards for the TD.

At 32 weeks we thought it would be fun to do one more ultra sound. The funny thing is that the nurse was trying to tell us it was a boy! We still think Little Morgan Sue is the one swimming around in there. Grandma Sue was in town visiting and got to go see the baby also. It was awesome. You could actually see her opening her eyes and sucking her thumb in the womb!!

Back to the Hoosier Heartland!!
We wanted to share with you some of the photos from our amazing trip home to Indiana. It's always so great to go back to your roots and spend time with loved ones. We had an amazing week and an half in Indiana, and got the chance to spend time with so many family and friends. It was an incredible trip. Thank you to all of our family and friends who arranged their schedules to accomodate our busy itinerary. We love you all very much and we can't wait to see you again when you can all meet little Morgan Sue. She will be here in 8 weeks.

We had an amazing time on our trip home. We got to spend a lot of time with our families. Besides a little rain, the weather was amazing. We only make it home about once a year, so when we do make it home it is so awesome to spend time with our loved ones.

Baby Showers!!
We have now officially entered the season of baby showers. We had two with family and friends while we were home in Indiana. The hard part is getting all the gifts back to Los Angeles! Thanks to everyone who blessed us and Morgan with gifts. We appreciate you!

A chance to see old friends

Mark and Shane visit Mr. Artherhults at Leo High School. There are some teachers last leave a lasting impact on you. Mr. "A" is the teacher who encouraged Shane to get into television and film, and helped Mark and Shane make their first movie.

Kelli is now in her 3rd trimester and she is just a little over 6 months pregnant. Doesn't she look incredible? They say that sometimes the husband goes through some of the symptoms of pregnancy too. I think that's why I have a belly too.
